Germany's national team begins a new era under head coach Jürgen Klopp in the 2026/27 UEFA Nations League. The DFB side's first match is against the Netherlands at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam on 24 September at 20:45 CET, broadcast on RTL.
Group A2 in League A is completed by Serbia and Greece. The first home game follows three days later against Greece at the WWK Arena in Augsburg, live on ARD. The opening phase concludes on 1 October with a home match against Serbia at Munich's Allianz Arena, shown on ZDF.
The Full Schedule
The return fixtures start on 4 October with an away match against Greece in Thessaloniki, again on RTL. The away game in Belgrade against Serbia is scheduled for 13 November. The group stage concludes with a home match against the Netherlands on 16 November at Berlin's Olympiastadion, broadcast on ARD.
Jürgen Klopp held his first press conference as the new national team manager back on 24 July at the DFB Campus in Frankfurt. The team aims for a fresh start following a disappointing 2026 World Cup exit and the resignation of Julian Nagelsmann.
Recent results have been mixed. The last match was a 0-0 draw away to Greece on 4 October. Before that came a 2-0 home win over Serbia with goals from Tom Bischof and Florian Wirtz, a 0-1 home defeat to Greece, and a 1-1 draw in the Netherlands. The form over the last four matches reads one win, two draws and one loss.
The next competitive fixture is away to Serbia on 13 November. The team hopes a strong Nations League campaign will build momentum for future tournaments.
