Julian Nagelsmann becomes new coach of the German national football team. The 34-year-old will lead the team into the EURO 2024. Nagelsmann started his career as a coach at TSG Hoffenheim and led the U19 team to the German championship. He took over the Bundesliga team at the age of 28 and led them into the UEFA Europa League and later into the UEFA Champions League. Nagelsmann moved to RB Leipzig in 2019 and to FC Bayern Munich in 2021. "We are of course very happy. Julian was trained at TSG Hoffenheim, we worked successfully for a very long time. He will receive the maximum support from us. Now it's a question of everyone in German football working together to make sure it's a successful home EURO", said Alexander Rosen of the decision. The former Hoffenheim trio will now have the honor of leading the German national football team into the UEFA EURO 2024. TSG Hoffenheim wishes Julian Nagelsmann and his two assistant coaches Benjamin Glück and Sandro Wagner good luck for the task ahead.
