The Germany national football team has announced its squad for the 2026 World Cup. Manuel Neuer is returning to the national team two years after his retirement - as number one. The 40-year-old record goalkeeper will support Oliver Baumann and Alexander Nübel in goal. Coach Nagelsmann has nominated a total of 26 players. The defense will be formed by Waldemar Anton, Nathaniel Brown, Pascal Groß, Joshua Kimmich, and David Raum. Antonio Rüdiger, Nico Schlotterbeck, Jonathan Tah, and Malick Thiaw will complete the defense. In midfield, Aleksandar Pavlovic, Jamal Musiala, Nadiem Amiri, Jamie Leweling, Felix Nmecha, Angelo Stiller, Leon Goretzka, Lennart Karl, and Florian Wirtz will play. The attack will consist of Deniz Undav, Kai Havertz, Maximilian Beier, Leroy Sané, and Nick Woltemade. The World Cup will start on June 11 and will be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. The national team will play against Curaçao on June 14 in Houston, against the Ivory Coast on June 20 in Toronto, Canada, and against Ecuador on June 25 in East Rutherford.
