The Germany national football team has made a strong start. The four-time world champion defeated outsider Curaçao in the Texas astronaut city with 7:1 (3:1) and celebrated its first opening win since the triumph of Rio 2014.

What happened?

The German selection of Julian Nagelsmann was not deterred by the temporary equalization. After a small misfire, the team made the expected World Cup rocket start.

The goals for Germany were scored by: Nmecha (6.), Schlotterbeck (38.), Havertz (45.+5, penalty), Musiala (47.), Brown (68.), Undav (78.) and Havertz (88.).
